Albert joined Balfour Beatty as a Graduate Civil Engineer back in 1981 Originally tasked with several large-scale heavy civil and structural engineering projects at Sellafield, he joined the Sheffield Supertram project as Senior Planner in 1991.
From here, Albert moved to Project Co-ordinator with the building unit, followed by several project management roles. In 2000, he became Regional Director for the North West, rising to the position of Divisional Director for the North West & Midlands in 2004. He took on his current role as General Manager in 2005.
A key contributor to Albert's rise through the ranks has been the excellent ongoing training he has received at Balfour Beatty, initially in technical/engineering subjects and latterly in commercial, project and business management.
Today, Albert is proud to be part of a well-respected organisation that’s recognised as a market leader within the industry. He likes the fact that every day brings with it fresh priorities and challenges, and that what he does is of real benefit to the community.
