MEPC’s specification for the Chineham Business Park development was to provide low cost flexible office space, built to a high standard in a short turnaround period.

Balfour Beatty was hired to provide and develop sophisticated technical and management skills across five sites: Redwood, Ashwood, Hazelwood, Maplewood and Rosewood. The entire build ran ahead of schedule and as a result, Balfour Beatty was awarded phases two and three of the construction package.

The works at Chineham Business Park highlight how a collaborative work ethic can achieve ‘best value’ results, a specific area of accomplishment was the accident frequency rate of nil throughout the entire contract duration.
