Located in the heart of Manchester’s traditional financial centre, this is a £20m eight-storey office building with a footprint of 1,000m².

Providing some much-needed grade A office space, the showpiece of this building is a stunning full height atrium rising through the centre of the building with a two-storey high wall of water with feature slate wall leading to the reception area.

The client, Langtree Group plc, received one of Manchester City Council’s prestigious Built In Quality Awards for its office development at Springardens, which includes the 40 Springardens project. The award scheme recognises high quality building construction in Manchester.

Out of the 2,700 buildings inspected by the council’s building Surveyors, 17 awards were made for outstanding construction projects. The project was assessed against a range of criteria including site safety, use of materials and access for all.
