This new 700-place academy specialises in Business and Enterprise and incorporates extensive sports and performing arts facilities together with a large ‘central heart’, an inspirational double height space containing social and dining areas and an informal learning environment.

There is also be a dedicated Faith Centre and a Learning Resource Centre (LRC) at the front of the building to encourage community use. The new academy incorporates several energy saving measures including proximity infrared technology, rainwater harvesting, a biomass generator and reduced water consumption. Our environmental approach on this project was rewarded with a Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice.
