The Saltire Centre provided Glasgow Caledonian University with a new learning centre and it was the largest single project commissioned by Glasgow Caledonian University within their current construction framework programme.

The Client’s brief called for a building which was not only a library and a resource centre but also a student services centre and the major social space within the university.

The Saltire Centre has become a flagship for educational buildings with visitors from as far a field as Australia and New Zealand.

Within the UK market the project is being viewed as a benchmark for Schools and Colleges.
