The concept behind the redevelopment of Vicarage Lane was to create a one-stop approach to local health service delivery. The centre incorporates clinical space housing GP suites, home rehabilitation support, integrated out patient and diagnostic rooms, ambulance service, phlebotomy and audiology facilities.

Additional services also include mental health services, psychology/counseling services and community drugs team. Also incorporated in the design are three retail units at ground floor level, namely a cafe, pharmacy and dentist.
