This project consisted of the construction of a new build extension onto the existing terminal building to form a new UK arrivals hall and retail facilities on the ground floor and a centralized search facility on the first floor. This included the reconfiguration and fit out of existing search and retail facilities within the live terminal to provide a new central shell and core duty free shop. All of these new facilities were to be provided while maintaining all existing search areas and other airport facilities to minimize disruption to passengers and airport operations.

The Skyhub project was delivered on schedule, within budget, to agreed quality standards with minimal disruption to normal airport operations.
